About Us

Affordable, accessible and fun, SPEEDSTYLING aims to bring the “time-poor-but-want-to-look-fabulous” woman or man up to date with fashion that is perfect for you!

Some stylists can make you feel like a blimp who has just crawled off the Ark. Out of touch, out of date, out of shape. Meh…perfect is so boring!

And here‘s the kicker:
It‘s not all about the clothing—it‘s all about YOU!

Now with the creation of SPEEDSTYLING (TM) , Jeanette has lifted the concept of personal styling to a whole new level.

SPEEDSTYLING is all about great results fast!

  • With the SpeedStyling Perfect 10 (TM)  assessing your choices in-store just got a whole lot faster.
  • The SpeedStyling system means having TWO stylists on hand. You are never left to your own devices and get twice the shopping done in the same timeframe.
  • Jeanette and her assistant stylist make a formidable team. Twice the knowledge, twice the know-how, twice the value. What this means for YOU is that we understand many of your challenges, and bring some real originality & creativity to your wardrobe or to the change-room—whether it is for a total makeover or simply to tweak your chic!

Hi Jeanette—Thank you so much, it was a great experience to have someone who knows what they’re doing to go shopping with! I definitely tried on things I never have before, which was great.

I was inspired by our chat and I will definitely keep you guys in mind if I have trouble finding the perfect wedding dress!

Thanks again, and I’ll hopefully see you again soon!

Cheers – Jill

JEANETTE DAVID-BALL has been teaching and styling women and men in the Newcastle and Hunter regions for many years now. Locals may know her as WEA’s tutor for her LOVE YOUR LOOK series of classes (Colour, Style, Hair); others would have benefited from her in-store home colour consultancy in decorator stores. Anyone that knows her personally can attest that she is nuts about colour and style!

Jeanette is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International and is trained in colour, and styling both men and women. She is also a practising interior decorator – see www.ministryoftheinterior.com.au

Jeanette is the current President of the NSW (Sydney) Chapter of AICI – one of only two chapters in Australia. She heads a team of inspiring and motivated image professionals – all making the world more beautiful – one client at a time! Being part of a professional association ensures services are cutting-edge and grounded in best practice.

While many self-styled “stylists” claim a great love of fashion, consulting takes a good deal more than this. Love of people is foremost; plus technical knowledge and skills; an artistic eye; ability to really listen; and a focused approach that hits the right goals for you, the client. And, in an industry that is always changing, consultants need to always be learning. We love what we do – and love to share it with you!
